This game is one of those perfect little experiences where all the pieces fit so seamlessly together that it's impossible to imagine them separately. Of course I did have to play it twice because I couldn't help myself but to jump into the ocean at the end and sink to the bottom of the skybox. Recommended!
yes, that is normal! my apologies, but this game is just incredibly slow on startup and you need to sit tight for a few minutes after clicking start. i recommend tabbing out and doing something else while you wait
Wonderful! A simple but all the more effective (and affective) metaphor that felt made this medium in more than just the literal sense. I loved the physicalisation of the branches, the having to literally walk that mental path. I know it's a different myth, but it got me thinking about Wait For Me II from Hadestown. A perfect little game.
A short, heartfelt experience. I love how it grounds a modern tale of codependency into a myth we're all familiar with. The surreal presentation with isolated assets definitely adds to that, evoking the intimacy and familiarity of everyday life, tying Theseus' experience to our own through time.
